Wild Honey

Had a nice dinner with Gracia this evening..
I've been to this restaurant before, but the one at Mandarin gallery.. So this time, we went to the newly open branch at Scott's Square.. This one is brighter and larger.. There are few seats at balcony, an open area with  Scott's road as a view..

For the All Day Breakfast (their main menu), they offer their 3 signatures meal ; English, European and Tunisian.. I ordered European, and Tunisian for my friends.. Both cost $19 each..

Cha Cha Cha Mexican Restaurant

I dont really fancy food from this country, but well, no harm to try..
Located at very live night environment, this restaurant is always full house.. It's open air restaurant with natural air-con.. My colleagues and I made reservation in advance to avoid the long Q..

Once we reached, they welcome us with their signature welcome meal, Nachos and salsa sauce. Honestly, I prefer to dip it with cheese rather than salsa.. hehe..

For the main dishes, I order Chicken Chimichanga (SGD 16). It's small size, but it turned out to be very fulling. The taste was just so so.. My colleagues had Cha Cha Cha Combinados (SGD 18.50), Burritos (SGD 15). For drink, we tried their Frozen Lime Margarita.

Sorry guys, i only have 2 blur pictures here.. :p

NEW - Choco Banana at McCafe

Feel like ages since I have updated my blog..  Time flies !!

Last saturday, after stroll-ing around Henderson Waves, my friends and I were trying to find nice spot to sit down and have a chat.. So cant decide whether to go to Novena or Thomson Rd, we ended up to take the bus which go to both places.

So, we decided to go to U.d.d.e.r.s at Thomson Rd.. But in the middle of our journey, we saw a quite big Macdonals which seems new (the way to treat sth that have never seen before, haha).. So we alight at the nearest bus stop..

Hmm, this Mac is big enuf and very convenient to study, but I guess you guys have to avoid peak hour in the middle of working hour, as it's surrounded by working place.

The new thing which I shd recommend for Banana lovers is their Choco Banana ! Cost $4.5 is a fair amount to spent compared to the rest of their hot beverages.. It comes with marshmallow.. :p

2D1N Melaka Trip (Malaysia) Part 1

I was going for 2d1n Melaka trip with 2 of my friends. As our bus depart very early, so all of us stay overnight at our friend's house which is near to the bus terminal at Kovan. Look at this a little surprise from them, aaawwww so sweet..

Melaka is famous for their street food, so don't be surprised if you see pictures I put here are all about FOOD !!! hahaha...

Our first stop: JONKER STREET
If you come to Melaka without going to Jonker street, then your Melaka experience is not complete! haha..

What are those people queuing for?

Yeah, they're queuing for this famous chicken rice ball..

Is it worth it? For me, it's not bad, but definitely not fantastic. If the Q is 1 hour long, then I will say it's not worth it. But after all, it's famous. So well, since you're here, I'm sure even if people say not nice, you will still join the Q, don't you? hahaha..

Just opposite the chicken rice shop, there's a cafe famous for its Durian Cendol, so we give it a try..  Taste? Good enough, especially during hot weather outside..

There is a well known museum, which is Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum around there. I would say it's quite difficult to find as the sign is small. We decided not to enter as the museum is really small, we thought that there should not be many things inside, (lol, forget us by thinking so)..

As we walk through, we found this! Very eye catching, isn't it? So we tried one. Haha.. Good enough though..

We also tried all these.. hahaha

We saw long Q here!
Located next to Taman Warisan Dunia Jonker Walk, there is small makan place selling ice and noodle.

(we also join the queue.. haha)

We bought and ate at the park, coz there was no seat inside..

Here are the wide selection of their noodles..

We also tried these.. Omg, we really keep eating..

The road decoration (post-Chinese new year)..

As it's getting darker, time to go to hotel, we haven't check in yet, as we want to maximize our little time to explore this little town..

These are some pics of what we saw during our walk to hotel:

Taa daaa, finally we saw our hotel! :)

After we took shower, we went out for dinner. Our hotel location is very good, as there is shopping mall nearby, it's walking distance..

Our dinner, we can't find this in Singapore..

As it was not that late yet, we continue to explore this city.. Time for cruise!

Then we continue to treasure night street market. Again, we ate pretty much!

To sum up day 1, this were what we get : (most of them are prize coz we're lucky enough to catch the orange with those lucky numbers, haha)

[So here was the pool of oranges. After finished cruising, we're given a small net to pick our lucky orange, hahaha]
